Moses Kuria meets Wanjigi amid talks of dumping DP Ruto

Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) leader Moses Kuria met business mogul Jimmy Wanjigi on Wednesday night at the business mogul’s Gigiri home in Nairobi, at a time when the Gatundu South legislator is rumored to be on his way out of DP William Ruto’s hustler nation camp.

According to sources within the Gatundu South legislator’s circles, the meeting was a follow-up to a similar one on July 8th this year.

”They have previously met. He is a leader and he can talk to anyone for sake of his people,” the source confided to this writer.

Last week, Kuria fell out with William Ruto after declining to withdraw his Kiagu ward candidate running on the Chama Cha Kazi ticket.

Legislators from Mt Kenya allied to the DP have severally accused their Gatundu South colleague of not pushing Ruto’s interests in their Hustler nation camp.

William Ruto has convened a meeting with Mt Kenya leaders backing his 2022 bid. Party leaders Mwangi Kiunjuri (TSP), and Moses Kuria (CCK) were expected to attend, but reports online show the two leaders may skip the three-day retreat happening in their backyard.
