Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria has dismissed Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in Mt Kenya, saying it was not a cure to the region’s problems. This comes amidst an acrimonious divorce between the MO and his allies in the hustler nation who have accused him of being a government mole inside their camp.
Speaking in Karuri Ward while campaigning for his Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) candidate, Kuria told residents not to follow William Ruto and UDA blindly thinking they were saviors.

On Thursday, the CCK leader vowed to go toe to toe with Deputy President William Ruto in the Kiagu ward by-election, after attempts to have party’s candidate Stephen Mwendwa withdraw from the race hit a brick wall.
Earlier in the week, Ruto’s camp decided to classify Kuria as an opponent, and MPs Rigathi Gachagua, Ndindi Nyoro, and Kimani Ichungwa have been unleashed by the DP to contain the acerbic tongued legislator.
