Ministry of Sports Ababu Namwamba is on an official tour in California, USA, where he is scheduled for a series of meetings targeting partnerships in the creatives.

The CS is set to meet with the representatives of invention studios, as he seeks to progress the agreement signed last year.

The production house committed to produce 15 films as well as offer skills capacity development to content creators in Kenya.

CS Namwamba earlier today met with the 1500 Sound Academy founder Larrance Dopson when he visited the Academy in Los Angeles.

They explored opportunities for collaboration and partnership in skills capacity building as well as production deals with the academy’s VOLUME label for Kenyan artists.

The CS called on the 1500 studios to leverage the flagship Talanta Hela initiative to train the young and upcoming artists under the Talanta Hela program towards actualizing the monetization agenda.

The studio caters for actual production, real music and film production as well as training for artists.

The CS then met with Invention Studios President Nicholas Weinstock, as he sought to progress the agreement signed with the production house on film production and content development for Kenyan film makers.

Later, CS Ababu met the Grammy Recording Academy CEO Panos A. Panay, on the sidelines of the Annual Grammy Awards ceremony, where they held talks on the progression of an ongoing MOU with the Grammy’s for the promotion of Kenya’s content globally.
