State House has deleted a condolence message to the family of former State Comptroller Abraham Kiptanui after learning that he is alive. In a tweet on Friday, the house on the hill said President Uhuru Kenyatta had sent a condolence message to the public servant who was in government for many years.

”This is FAKE NEWS. How can The President mourn a man who is alive? Sasa State House wakianza Fake News…where are we headed to?” Dennis Itumbi wrote.

State House spokesperson Kanze Dena has not given any response over the huge mistake.
