President Uhuru Kenyatta is kicking off his counter-attacks on DP William Ruto in his Mt Kenya backyard starting this week.

Sources from the Jubilee Party Headquarters reveal an elaborate plan has been put in place to see the party’s top officials from all the Mt Kenya counties who had defected to William Ruto’s UDA replaced by loyalists of Uhuru Kenyatta, as the outfit bankrolls a massive recruitment exercise. Among those marked include Members of Parliament and MCAs aligned to the new outfit by Ruto.

”We will work on jubilee officials starting this week especially those who are not allied with the president. We will start with the Mt Kenya region…so those in the headquarters, be warned,” Kieni MP Kanini Kega said.

His sentiments were supported by Muranga Woman Rep Sabina Chege who confessed the ruling party has a tainted image in the president’s backyard and it was time to weed out individuals responsible and have them replaced with those who will champion the Jubilee government agenda into 2022.

”We have noticed that our party has some weaknesses. Those spoiling our good name and those known to use insults, let them know that we will soon begin operation fagia jubilee,” she said.

After resolving last week to revamp the Jubilee Party, President Uhuru Kenyatta has directed the party holds its first meeting with all MCAs from the six Mt Kenya counties next week. The meeting is the first in the series which will see allies of the president de-campaign DP William Ruto and his wheelbarrownomics politics.

”We were able to see the gaps that exist between the ruling party and its membership and the general public. With that information we now know where we are. We also now know what to do to get to where we need to be,” Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu said after the ruling party’s performance in last month’s Kiambaa mini-poll.

The legislator is one of the president’s allies directly involved with the upcoming Jubilee activities in Mt Kenya.
