Former Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri says Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s demonstrations are justified and that they will help in solving a number of problems that continue facing the country despite William Ruto being President.
In an interview on Wednesday morning at Kameme FM, Kiunjuri, also The Service Party (TSP) leader noted from where he stands, demonstrations are the ultimate solutions to problems facing Kenyans and that it is the only language the current government will understand.
”Demonstrations are the ultimate solution to problems facing Kenyans but at least Hon Raila is doing something about those problems. At least with demos, the populous regions like Mt. Kenya region might achieve equity of resources,” Kiunjuri said.
The TSP leader further criticized Mt Kenya leaders who have claimed the demonstrations are destroying Kikuyu businesses, yet the region no longer has a controlling stake in Nairobi.
”Mt. Kenya is the loudest when it comes to criticizing maandamano yet they are happening only in Nairobi and Kisumu. Mountaineers, don’t be proud, you no longer have the control of Nairobi and those who do you will not hear them attack Raila,” he continued.
The former Laikipia East MP also fired a warning shot at Mt Kenya churches which he says have strayed away from the gospel and are solely responsible for the current political crisis in Kenya
”The political crisis in the country has been bred in churches. A pastor will preach for 10 mins then the rest of the time is allocated to politicians kujipiga kifua saying how they will deal with Raila. Rwanda’s genocide began in church while calling in the name of the Lord.”
