The One Kenya Alliance (OKA) will be in Kitui tomorrow, with Narck-Kenya leader Martha Karua as its new principal – days after Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi decamped from the outfit to form an alliance with William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
According to sources, KANU leader Gideon Moi and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka have felt hugely betrayed by Mudavadi’s move to join the DP.

”For many years I have said Mudavadi is not a serious chap. After promising Kenyans to expect a “political earthquake”, he only ended up joining the wheelbarrow team. This is a betrayal of Kenyans. And we are urging Kalonzo to soldier on and become OKA’s presidential flag bearer,” Mavoko MP Patrick Makau said yesterday, remarks which were supported by his Matungulu counterpart Stephen Mule.
”Kenyans will never trust Mudavadi ever again. He has betrayed Kalonzo, Gideon and Wetang’ula. His action marks the beginning of the end of his political career,” MP Mule said.
In a statement sent to media houses on Sunday evening after walking out of the ANC national convention at the Bomas of Kenya, Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi said they had to part ways with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi because they are uncomfortable with his friends led by United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leader Deputy President William Ruto.
”We are therefore moving to higher grounds where Kenyans are safer. It is time to move forward, it is time to end the nasty political games.”
