EALA MP Oburu Oginga has confirmed ODM leader Raila Odinga is this morning admitted at the Nairobi Hospital, after visiting the facility yesterday evening. According to reports from the Nairobi Hospital, Odinga is under close observation.
Doctors are expected to conduct further tests to determine his condition. However, Oburu Oginga says from what he has observed, there were no signs the ODM leader has contracted the deadly coronavirus.
‘The medical test results on COVID had not come out by the time I left last night, but from what I observed I could not see any signs of COVID,” Oburu Oginga told the press.
Before his admission to Nairobi Hospital, Raila has been going round the country, popularising the BBI Bill after an overwhelming endorsement in the county assemblies. Odinga’s Communication Director Dennis Onyango says the ODM leader’s personal doctor will issue a statement on his condition later in the day.
