President William Ruto on Thursday nominated 50 Cabinet Administrative Secretaries to serve in his cabinet after approval by Parliament, a move that has outraged Kenyans, given the current economic turmoil in the country.
Despite vowing during his presidential campaigns to not create new positions for a few wealthy individuals at the expense of serving poor Kenyans, President Ruto has made an about-turn to create new CAS positions and has the biggest cabinet compared to his predecessor, Uhuru Kenyatta.
