Azimio leader Raila Odinga says he is ready to pay the ultimate price for Kenyans and that even if the William Ruto administration kills him, his spirit will live on among millions of Kenyans.
”You can kill me, but you can’t kill the spirit of Raila that lives in the majority of Kenyans. Even if you assassinate me, my spirit will live on. I am ready to pay the ultimate prize for Kenyans,” Raila said while responding to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s Wednesday remarks that the government is going to deal with the ODM leader once and for all.
Mr. Odinga, who spoke in Nakuru county on Thursday said he will be not intimidated by the president and his deputy and that the March 20th demonstrations will be to get back the Azimio Coalition’s stolen victory and not looting as has been said by Kenya Kwanza leaders.
”We have no business with anyone’s business. Kikuyus voted for me. They are my people. Our business on Monday will be to get back our stolen victory. We shall not be intimidated by Ruto and Gachagua. Gachagua has no locus standi to talk about anything democracy,” Raila noted.
Odinga who was accompanied by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former Cabinet Secretary, Eugene Wamalwa among other national and local leaders said Ruto had accused him of causing anarchy in other regimes.
