Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto to stop undressing each other in public and instead resign from office. The Senator was commenting on the latest public spat between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto.
”Both of you should resign! Acheni kuvuana nguo nje! (stope undressing each other in public),” the Senator tweeted on February 10th.
The youthful Senator has also called on young Kenyans to avoid being used by politicians seeking elective positions in 2022.
“Sometimes we are sitting in parliament and making noise about the youth, but it is us who are older who are speaking about what we want the youth to have but we are not giving you an opportunity to speak your language,” the Senator told students of the Catholic University of East Africa. Adding,
”I think it is about time you said no, if you are going to represent me, this is how II want to be represented not you making all these decisions for me.”
