Raila’s Kamukunji Rally to Determine Fate of Ruto Presidency

Raila Odinga is expected back in the country on Monda, thereafter head straight to the Kamkunji grounds in Nairobi for a People’s Baraza with members of the Azimio Coalition.

Mr. Odinga will announce to Kenyans their next move following the latest revelations by an IEBC Whistleblower that the elections were manipulated in favor of William Ruto.

In a statement to the press on Saturday, Dennis Onyango, the Azimio leader spokesperson announced the opposition supremo will land at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 11 am.

”Upon arrival, Mr. Odinga will proceed to the Kamukunji grounds in Kamukunji Constituency for a People’s Baraza consultations with the public where they will discuss recent disclosures by a whistleblower on the conduct of the 2022 general election. Mr. Odinga appeals to Kenyans to show up in large numbers at the Kamukunji Baraza, in the interest of the country,” the statement reads in part.

The Azimio leader has been in South Africa for the past week for a series of continental assignments in his capacity as the AU High Representative for Infrastructure Development in Africa.
