Raila Declares March 20th a Public Holiday

Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has declared Monday, March 20, a public holiday to allow Kenyans to participate in the mass action. Mr. Odinga, while speaking at the Azimio rally in Siaya county added it would allow supporters to join them in the rally.

“Monday is on. I hereby now declare today in the name of Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya alliance coalition that Monday, March 20 will be a public holiday,” Odinga announced.

The ODM leader made the announcement after a request from his Deputy Martha Karua.
