Ole Sapit is Hollow in his Criticism of the Church of England

On Saturday, the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) distanced itself from the Church of England’s resolution to officiate same-sex marriages, a resolution that has been fiercely opposed by the head of the Anglican church in Kenya, Archbishop Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit.

In a statement to newsrooms, Dr. Ole Sapit faulted the ACK parent church in England terming the move hypocritical and sinful, and that the ACK would not condone homosexuality as it is against the teachings of Christianity.

He instead urged the Church of England to repent and shun away from misleading teachings.

”It is ridiculous that the Church of England affirms to remain faithful to the traditional teachings of marriage yet have sanctioned the so-called prayers of love to be used in their Churches to bless unions between persons of same-sex. This is hypocritical and a blatant lie for there is only one truth and not many versions or opinions of it.

”We affirm that marriage, as taught in the Holy Scriptures is between one man and one woman, monogamous and heterosexual. Any deviation from this God-designed covenant relationship is sinful and unacceptable,” the statement read in part.

Dr. Ole Sapit, like many other Africans here at home and in the diaspora, is just waking up to the reality that they are enslaved by the West and its hypocrisy on Christianity.

The Church of England, or Anglican Church, is the primary state church in England, where the concepts of church and state are linked.

It is considered the original church of the Anglican Communion, representing over 85 million people in more than 165 countries across the globe.

The King of England is not only a political authority but also a Religious Institution. The King of England is an upholder of the English Culture, which is why he is the Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

He controls all Anglican Churches including the branches in Kenya. Dr. Ole Sapit’s call for the Monarchy to repent and turn away from sin is not just hollow but also plain stupid. The Anglican Church is controlled by England and what Kenyans think will not count.

If the West insists same-sex marriages must be officiated in Kenyan churches, there is little or nothing the Anglican Church members in Kenya can do.

The Church of England actively played a key role in the enslavement of the African people so really, we can tell how they perceive Dr. Ole Sapit and other Africans who continue to serve the Monarchy through their numerous churches in Africa.
