MP Moses Kuria to meet President Uhuru in Dubai?

President Uhuru Kenyatta flies out of the country this evening to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a three-day working trip aimed at strengthening ties between Kenya and the Gulf State.

However, a whisper from a little bird discloses one of the Head of State’s political rivals, and home MP Moses Kuria could meet him in Dubai on Tuesday.

Moses Kuria, also the Chama Cha Kazi leader is expected back in the country by Friday, from Dubai where he has been for the last two months from November.

The legislator, who fell out with President Uhuru has been hospitalized in the Gulf country after successfully undergoing stem cell surgery following third-degree leg burns from an electric mat.

Leaders, including Hon Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto, paid the CCK leader a visit while still hospitalized in Nairobi. DP Ruto would later meet the MP a second time, two weeks ago, time while on a trip to Dubai.

On the official front, Ambassador to the UAE Kariuki Mugwe indicated that gracing a high-level business forum, presiding over the Kenya national day at the Expo 2020 Dubai and bilateral talks with the UAE leadership will crown President Kenyatta’s visit.
