Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi says Kenya Kwanza Alliance’s running mate will come from Western Kenya and that William Ruto does not need to pick a deputy from the Mt Kenya block to be assured of votes from the vote-rich region.
Speaking on Tuesday morning during an interview with Kass FM, Sudi expressed confidence their Kenya Kwanza flagbearer has enough numbers to clinch the presidency once the DP position has been handed to Western Kenya, which is an Azimio zone.

”Our running mate position belongs to Western Region, William Ruto has already penetrated Central and he will get a majority of the votes with or without the running mate position. We are going to use the running mate’s position to entice Western Kenya from Azimio,” the MP said.
It is a tough balancing act for the deputy president who needs both the Western and Mt Kenya region regions to back him to the last man if he is to beat the grand Azimio-OKA.
Picking a running mate from either Mt Kenya or Western has consequences on his national tally and an advantage to his main competitor Raila Odinga.
