Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday convened at his residence in Karen, to plan the killing of 1,000 Kenyans during the Azimio Coalition’s demonstrations in Nairobi.

This is according to Raila Odinga, the Azimio Coalition leader who also said Majority Leader in the National Assembly Kimani Ichungwa plus Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro attended the meeting.

”DP Gachagua convened a meeting at his residence in Karen. In attendance were Kimani Ichung’wah and Ndindi Njoro. Several youths were invited and the meeting turned out to be a strategy session to counter Monday’s demonstrations.

It was a planning meeting about how they will arm Youth to Kill 1000 Kenyans during demonstrations and take videos and images to the ICC blaming Azimio Leaders,” Raila said.

Speaking earlier at a press conference from his Capitol Hill office, Mr. Odinga, accompanied by other Azimio leaders also dismissed any possibilities of a handshake with the Kenya Kwanza administration.

”Kenya Kwanza has continued to claim that all we are looking for is a handshake. We emphatically refute this unfounded rumour. This is an insult to the intelligence of Kenyans. We will not participate in a handshake with an illegitimate regime,” added.

Party leaders Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Martha Karua (KANU), George Wajackoyah (Roots), Eugene Wamalwa (DAP-Kenya), and Minority Whip in the National Assembly Junet Mohammed flanked Mr. Odinga.
