Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina is known for his controversial tweets and his vocal voice, championing for youth leadership. In a tweet on Monday night, the youthful Senator called on Kenyans above 50 years to stay away from public office, and step aside for young people to lead.
”The Only people that matter in Kenya are 50 and below,” the Senator said.
According to the official statistics from the KNBS, those aged between 18-35 are currently the majority, making up over 60 percent of our population. The ODM legislator said, those aged 50 and below are in need of jobs and good standards of living.
”They need jobs, good standards of living .. if you are outside that bracket step aside and watch how change is brought about!”
