President Ruto’s Fake Jobs in Germany is a New Low for him and his Government

5 mins read

President William Ruto loudly announced that he has made a deal with Germany to open doors for 250,000 skilled and semi-skilled Kenyan workers to go to Germany. This was supposed to be the cornerstone of the President’s trip to Germany.

As it turns out President Ruto was lying to Kenyans about that because no such deal was agreed between President Ruto and the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Just after William Ruto announced his alleged achievements in Germany the response was very clear from the German government that no such deal was made with the Kenyan President.

Media reports are that the Germany’s Federal Ministry of Interior and Community has refuted reports that the nation has inked a labour deal with Kenya to welcome 250,000 workers in the European country.

This is after a BBC report saying that the deal will offer employment opportunities for thousands of Kenyans.

Rebutting the report, Germany’s Interior Ministry clarified that the deal signed with Kenya does not specify the number of workers set to travel and there will be a rigorous process of selecting all applicants.

“This information is clearly false. The agreement between Germany and Kenya does not include any numbers or quotas of skilled workers who will have the opportunity to work in Germany. All applicants must fulfill the strict requirements of the German Skilled Immigration Act,” the Ministry said on X.

The report, at the time of this publication, had caused a roaring upheaval among residents in Germany who ridiculed the entry of migrant workers.

President William Ruto runs a government of false announcements of success everyday. Kenyans are getting tired of it. Forget Gen Z, this is getting unbearable for every Kenyan. Okay Mr. President you have no way of creating jobs for Kenyans in the country. People get that but please can you stop making false statements about Kenyans getting jobs out of the country.

According to the Ruto government right now 1,000 are leaving the country everyday for jobs abroad. Assuming JKIA is still working can we get the numbers of those Kenyans going for those jobs? No, because there is nothing like that happening and Ruto knows he is lying giving those numbers to make him look good.

As for the deal with Germany whatever it was, Ruto just made it worse by making false statements on numbers and that could just kill the whole thing.

At this there is a big political crisis in Germany itself.

Here is the reality on the ground in Germany today.

German far right hails ‘historic’ election victory in east

The AfD’s highly controversial top candidate in Thuringia, Björn Höcke, hailed a “historic victory”

Germany’s anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) is celebrating a “historic success”, with a big victory for the far-right party in the eastern state of Thuringia.

Simply put Germany is not about to take any new migrant workers in the foreseeable future. So Ruto is just opening a door already closed. Germany has had a huge immigration crisis in the last few years with tens of thousands of Ukrainians fleeing war coming to Germany and it is a problem for their government to deal with.

In terms of jobs for Kenyans if President Ruto cannot handle it, someone else will but jobs for Kenyans must be created in the republic itself and opportunities are there in agriculture, industrial production, fisheries, transportation systems, education, healthcare, and everywhere. Endless potential.

That is what Kenya is and they will get there without a doubt. Minus the current regime of course. We will get there as a country.
