President William Ruto on Friday night in Kisumu told Luo Nyanza leaders he was ready to join hands with the ODM Party not only in the counties but also at the national level inside Parliament in working towards achieving the national agenda of his administration across the country.

The Head of State who just concluded his two-day tour of Mr. Odinga’s Luo Nyanza turf yesterday spoke during a closed-door meeting with Migori and Kisumu county leaders at the Kisumu State Lodge where he acknowledged that ODM was the region’s most dominant party.

President Ruto also called on the leaders to forge ahead devoid of politics and support the government in delivering promises made to Kenyans.

Siaya Governor James Orengo on Saturday asked President William Ruto to work with Azimio leader Raila Odinga. Orengo was speaking in Asembo during the homecoming ceremony of ICT CS Eliud Owalo.

“Mr. President, I ask you, not in the spirit of the handshake, but in the spirit of togetherness. I urge you to sit together on the table of brotherhood with your brother Raila Amolo Odinga.”

The governor said that the elections are over and the country needs to be united moving forward and reminded the President of their time in the Opposition when he was relentless in defending Raila, alias Agwambo.
