Kenyan politicians have one and only one eternal commitment and that is that whenever there are significant developments in the country the politicians only goal is to look how whatever happens in the country can help them achieve power for themselves and to hell with the country.
Kenya as a country doesn’t matter to these people at all. We are witnessing that right now. The nation will deal with it—no doubt about that.
What Kenyans are seeing as the nation continues to bury Gen Z victims of state violence who have been killed by the Ruto regime is just a joke from the Ruto government. President Ruto after appointing a new cabinet is now dancing on the graves of those dead patriotic Kenyans as he goes around the country making the same promises for development he has been making for his two terrible years at State House and he has no intention of doing anything.
As a matter of fact the Ruto government does not even have a budget to run the country unless they are bulldozing the Finance Bill 2024 through the back door.
Kenyan President William Ruto said that he will not sign a controversial finance bill, backing down in the face of mass protests that swept the country.
“Having reflected on the continuing conversation regarding the content of the Finance Bill 2024, and listening keenly to the people of Kenya who have said loudly that they want nothing to do with this Finance Bill 2024, I concede, and therefore I will not sign the 2024 finance bill,” Ruto said during a television address Wednesday.
“The people have spoken,” Ruto said. “Following the passage of the bill, the country experienced widespread expression of dissatisfaction with the bill as passed, regrettably resulting in the loss of life, the destruction of property and desecration of constitutional institutions.”
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has spoken with Ruto since the clashes to urge restraint. According to a State Department readout of their call, Blinken “underscored the importance of security forces demonstrating restraint and refraining from violence and encouraged prompt investigations into allegations of human rights abuses.”
For a president with no budget for the current financial year you would expect William Ruto to be having consultations and meetings with Kenyans asking okay you rejected my budget can we put something together now. Instead of that Ruto is campaigning for 2027. Where is the money running the government until then coming from? Does William Ruto have a secret budget somewhere in his bedroom at State House?
The other promise Ruto is making to Kenyans as he seeks to become relevant after a Gen Z meltdown is that he is going to provide passports in one week for Kenyans who are going to work outside the country. Where exactly are those jobs Mr. President?
I know for a fact there is not a single job for Kenyans right here in Canada where I work because I know how complicated their “New Worker” program which brings immigrants to work in Canada is. That is how I got here from Tanzania as a refugee from Kenya.
CBC Canada made a documentary on how to get “New Workers” into Canada. We were there as Kenyan refugees in Canada and it was called the “New Worker” program.
The “new worker” interviews wants you to tell the Canadian embassy officials your education and you have to provide your certificates. They need work experience. If you qualify they do something that really annoyed us. They take your blood to do all sorts of medical tests.
For me I had ulcers and they said they can handle it but I was bleeding in the stomach. That is what they told me. I had been in torture chambers at Nyayo House after I was grabbed from Mombasa Polytechnic where I was working as a lecturer. So they said they understand my ulcers otherwise they would have said no to me. These people are serious about your health to give you a job here.
On arrival in Canada I had to go for ulcer treatment at St. Joseph Hospital and then they put a camera to my stomach with some wires through my mouth and all sorts of strings to the body.
If you go through the whole process and they accept you that is when the Canadian government gives you a Visa and then you are ready to go. That is a tedious process and it is not being done in Kenya today.
It cannot be done in political rallies by William Ruto. He knows that too but he just likes to joke with the country.
The only other work program for immigrants in Canada is called seasonal farm workers and they mainly come from Jamaica and Mexico. Without those workers Canada cannot produce its food and we are talking about the largest country in the world by land size with a population of just 40 million. They need those workers in their farms and they are not coming from Kenya.
Many Ontarians aren’t aware of the key role that more than 17,000 seasonal workers from Mexico, Jamaica and the Caribbean play in growing and harvesting the more than 120 fruit and vegetable crops grown in the province. It’s certainly something that Chaplin White from Trelawny, Jamaica wishes was more widespread
Right now Canada also needs nurses and healthcare workers but the process is very difficult and when those healthcare workers including physicians come to Canada it takes more than a year to train them into the Canadian medical system and standards. None of those are coming from Kenya.
How many jobs have the USA offered to Kenyans so they can get that one week passport and go? How about Germany or France? Nothing is there for Kenyan workers.
The idea that countries would just offer jobs to Kenyans and they come to work is nonsense and a big lie by President Ruto. No country will offer a job to foreigners just like that because their own citizens would be mad. For every job you apply and get interviewed and if you qualify you get the job.
The first thing you need to go to work in foreign countries is a Visa to go there and you must have a status. In Canada it is called “New Worker” and then if you stay there for three years you can apply for “Permanent Resident” (PR) status which gives you all the rights as Canadian citizens.
Now President Ruto is lying to Kenyans that he is ready to pay for air tickets for Kenyans with no Visa to go anywhere and no job offers because nobody has even interviewed them for jobs. There has to be better ways for the president to lie to Kenyans. This one is too obvious and gross. If we had credible political opposition in Kenya they should be asking President Ruto to provide a list of the jobs Kenyans are taking in foreign countries.
The best Ruto can get are immigration arrangements for Kenyans to go to other countries and look for jobs there. Does President Ruto have any arrangements with any country in the world for Kenyans to go there? No he doesn’t? Why is he lying and inventing these thousands of jobs for Kenyans outside the country. Maybe he can send them to Somali to go dig some land and herd donkeys.
Maybe Saudi Arabia needs some maids and house workers because that is the only country you can be offered jobs before you arrive there because the local folks don’t want those jobs. In the rest of the world you have to apply for jobs and get them and that means you must be living in those countries already. That is the real world and not the Ruto imaginations and lies.
The first thing President Ruto would have done if any these foreign jobs were even remotely real is he would provided to the media the number of jobs Kenyans are getting abroad and if it is 10,000 or 500,000 jobs then Ruto will be in a very good place telling the Kenyan youth with the right skills to take those jobs and help build their country. Instead President William Ruto is trying to dupe Kenyans with imaginary jobs for them outside the country because he has no jobs or hope for them in their own country. What a shame?
The other big promise William Ruto has made is to have corruption cases resolved in six months. That would be great because the president is sitting on billions and billions worth of public land theft cases against him in the Kenyan courts right now. Those cases have gone on for decades. Can Kenya have them resolved now? Six months, right?
President Ruto said the legal amendments are aimed at cementing integrity and dealing firmly with corruption.
Ruto commits to deliver on resolution of graft cases in 6 months
The President said the Executive will work together with the criminal justice system to ensure corruption cases are resolved within six months.
KILIFI, Kenya, Jul 26 — The government will shortly be proposing changes to the relevant law to seal the loopholes that undermine the fight against corruption, President William Ruto has said.
The President said the Executive will work together with the criminal justice system to ensure corruption cases are resolved within six months.
This is the one promise where Kenyans have to take President Ruto seriously because this is what he has been doing since getting State House.
William Ruto has asked his DPP to make sure that any cases by EACC or DPP on theft of public money is withdrawn from court and the thieves are allowed to keep all public money stolen.
It started with the corruption case against his DP Rigathi Gachagua.
Kenyan court drops $60m corruption case against deputy president
Under new President William Ruto’s government, prosecutors have withdrawn several cases against some of his allies.
A Kenyan court has allowed a request by public prosecutors to withdraw a 7.4 billion shillings ($60m) corruption case against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, citing insufficient evidence.
Gachagua, a former lawmaker, was charged with corruption nine other people, last July. He has denied any wrongdoing.
“The application by Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is hereby granted,” Victor Wakumile, the anti-corruption magistrate said in his ruling on Thursday. “The accused persons are hereby warned and informed that they may be re-arrested in the future under the same or similar charges,” he added.
Earlier this month, DPP Noordin Haji had asked the court to allow the withdrawal of corruption charges against Gachagua, citing a lack of evidence.
Under new President William Ruto’s government, prosecutors have withdrawn several cases against some of his allies on the same grounds.
In October, Haji applied to withdraw corruption charges against Aisha Jumwa, now a cabinet secretary, related to the embezzlement of 19 million shillings ($155,700). The public prosecutor also withdrew a case against ex-Samburu County Governor Moses Lenolkulal, shortlisted for the position of principal secretary.
In a separate ruling in July, a Kenyan court ordered Gachagua to repay 202 million shillings ($1.65m), which it determined were the proceeds of corruption.
President William Ruto and former Treasury CS Henry Rotich
Kenya’s former finance minister Henry Rotich has been acquitted of fraud charges, marking the latest high-profile corruption case to collapse or be dismissed under the administration of President William Ruto.
As soon as Ruto freed Henry Rotich from the Sh. 63 billion he stole that killed the dams that would have benefited millions in his own Rift Valley areas he was appointed to the Treasury as a Ruto advisor. Those are the people who work at the Treasury and now John Mbadi will be ordered to do what they want when he comes to the Treasury .
President William Ruto has endless land theft and corruptions cases and he can have the cases withdrawn in six months. That would be great for him and terrible for the country.

During his presidential campaign in 2022 William Ruto promised to forcefully take back stolen land from the rich Kenyans and give that land back to Kenyans for free. Ruto said his government would buy the land but you can only buy something if it is on sale. Otherwise you have to take the land whether the owners want it or not.
I have a list for William Ruto to start with. Number one let’s take the KAA land which Ruto has agreed he grabbed but wanted to pay something small to keep the land where he built his Weston Hotel.
Weston ‘owner’ Patrick Osero says DP Ruto his close associate
A man claiming to be the owner of Weston Hotel, next to Lang’ata Road Primary School, which is at the centre of a land row, says he is a close ally of the Deputy President.
Patrick Osero, however, denies that William Ruto has any interests in the hotel that was initially suspected of being behind the grabbing of the school playground. He insists he is the sole proprietor.
According to him, Mr Ruto only visits the place as his friend and customer. Mr Ruto’s daughter Shaleen, he said, frequents the gym at the hotel.
The Nation established, however, that she also has an office at Weston Hotel in spite of denials that the Ruto family has no interests there.
Mr Ruto and Mr Osero’s friendship dates back to the early 1990s when they were members of the Youth for Kanu ‘92, a notorious brigade founded to counter the struggle for multi-party democracy and ensure entrenchment of President Daniel arap Moi’s Kanu regime.
YK ‘92, led by Cyrus Jirongo, gained notoriety for splashing out money that ultimately was traced to public coffers. The activities of the group contributed to the fiscal indiscipline that nearly bankrupted key State corporations and statutory institutions, stressed the National Treasury and led to near-collapse of the country’s economy.
The organisation was also involved in large-scale grabbing of public land, the ramifications of which are felt to this day in institutions that were badly affected such as the National Social Security Fund.
JUBILEE BENEFICIARY
“We met during YK’92 and he has been my very good friend and business partner since then,” Mr Osero freely said of his association with then Deputy President William Ruto.
It is an association that has benefited him under the Jubilee regime: “I am the chairman of the Agricultural Finance Corporation and therefore, he is also my boss as the Deputy President,” Mr Osero told the Nation.
The bond between the two is said to be very strong. In the early years of former President Mwai Kibaki’s tenure, Mr Osero stood surety worth Sh6 million for Mr Ruto in a court case involving land.
He said that he acquired the 1.7 acres of land where the hotel sits in 1998 from a company called Priority Limited and built the hotel last year.
He did not delve into the details of how he acquired the land and how much it cost.
The land on which the hotel stands initially belonged to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
The chairman of Wilson Airport Aircraft Operations Committee, Gad Kamau, confirms that the Weston Hotel parcel was grabbed in December 2002, shortly before the General Elections that saw Kanu lose power to Narc.
Mr Osero denied that he may be a proxy. “You think I cannot own such a property? Why are Kenyans doubting?” he asked.
William Ruto has already admitted to grabbing the land so there is really nothing to talk about for the Kenya government just take the land and case closed.
Second on the list is the land William Ruto was talking about when he told Kenyans that he owns 2,536 acres of land in Taita Taveta which was gifted to him by the mighty land grabber in the area Mr. Basil Criticos. Ruto didn’t even buy it so he should just hand it over peacefully and the people of Taita Taveta will get the title deeds after the land has been subdivided.
This is one is ready to go and finally the people there will have access to Lake Jipe the one you see overlooking the farm. The lake looks beautiful doesn’t it?
As part of his political recovery plan President Ruto was in Taita Taveta on Sunday July 28, 2024 making all sorts of fake promises. William Ruto would have just done one thing in Taita Taveta and that is to tell the people there that he is giving up the 2,5000 acres of land he stole from them which captures a whole lake and where he has big farms and let the Taita Taveta County sort that out with the citizens. Ruto is not that kind of person and Kenyans know that.
Now the local people can’t get to that lake because they have to go through Ruto’s grabbed land and it is fenced and Ruto had to put electric fence there to scare off the folks.
Third we have Eldoret where William Ruto grabbed properties worth billions and then went to the National Land Commission to allow him to pay for them after he stole them.
Court quashes NLC decision on land to Ruto
NATIONAL
By Patrick Kibet | Nov 7th 2021
The Environment and Lands Court in Eldoret has quashed a decision by the National Land Commission to clear allocation of prime plots of land in Eldoret to Deputy President William Ruto.
In the case, the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC), the predecessor of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), in 2008 had sued Ruto alongside Magut Agencies Ltd, Somog Limited and former Commissioner of Lands Wilson Gachanja.
The case centered around parcels of land LR No Eldoret Municipality Block 8/574 – 588 and Block 8/540, which were subdivided from LR No. Eldoret Municipality, Block 8/83, in the heart of Eldoret town.
Magut Agencies Ltd, through its director Josiah Kiprotich Magut, on the October 7 last year filed an application seeking to have the court adopt a 2018 decision by NLC, which purported to give green light to the allocation to Ruto and others.
“The National Land Commission has already made a determination dated April 20, 2018 that has fully resolved the issues raised in the plaintiff’s suit,” Magut told the court.
He had told the court the NLC award was transmitted to the Chief Land Registrar in Uasin Gishu County Government and should be adopted as an order to settle the suit.
However, EACC opposed the application and told the court that the decision by NLC was made on April 20, 2018, nearly a year after the term of the first land commission had lapsed.
EACC further argued that there was no order referring the dispute to NLC and, in addition, the land commission did not have any power to determine issues relating to the validity of the titles.
Justice Stephen Kibunja in his decision said that there was was no directive referring the dispute to NLC for review or arbitration.
“I have taken time to peruse court records, especially the typed proceedings running from April 23, 2008 to May 19, 2020, and I have not seen any order or direction issued by the court referring the dispute in this suit to the Commission for review or arbitration,” Justice Kibunja said.
The parties had, however, been given time on December 15, 2015 to pursue alternate dispute resolution.
He said that the case was filed two years before the promulgation of the Constitution and five years before the enactment of the NLC Act.
“Even though the Commission (NLC) proceedings do not disclose the date the complaint is acted upon was filed, it is clear the hearings took place in or around February 2017, which is about nine years after the filing of this suit in court,” he said.
He said that NLC went ahead to make a determination despite being informed that the dispute was before the court of law.
“The existence of this suit was brought to the attention of the Commission, and it is baffling how it proceeded to hear and purport to determine the dispute in the absence of any specific order by the court referring the matter to it,” he said.
Justice Kibunja held that NLC decision to hear the case without a verifiable court order contravened the provision of the Civil Procedure Act. “The Commission had no powers to oust the jurisdiction of this court that are derived from Article 162(2) (b) of the Constitution and Section 13 of the Environment and Land Court Act No. 19 of 2011,” he said.
He further noted that the NLC powers to review grants or disposition of public land to establish legality had expired by the time the decision was made.
“The said report having been made by the Commission without jurisdiction is null and void, and hence a nullity ab initio (to be treated as invalid from the outset),” Kibunja ruled.
He raised concern over the delay of the case which was filed on April 8, 2008 but has not proceeded to a full hearing.
“This court finds that it is unfortunate that the plaintiff took approximately 12 years to file the application to amend its plaint, but in view of the fact that the matter has never progressed to hearing of the main suit, I find that no prejudice will be occasioned upon the opposing parties,” he ruled.
He said there was no evidence produced in court to prove how consolidation of the more than 10 cases would prejudice the defendants.
EACC was given 14 days to file and serve amended plaint.
Those properties in Eldoret need to be taken by the government as soon as possible. Ruto tried the same trick he was using with Weston Hotel. Steal public property and then offer to pay something small after you are caught. No sir. The government is taking back what you stole. No questions asked and it will go through the courts.
So there we go for now. We have a land thief who has been doing it all his adult life since leaving college who is now our president and he wants to have corruption including land theft cases resolved in six months while in court. Can he start with his own billions and billions of land theft cases still in court in Kenya?
Well Mr. Ruto just first hand over all the stolen public land and property you have right now. How about that for a start?
All these President William Ruto massive land theft cases are still before the Courts of Appeal in Kenya including the Weston Hotel case where if Ruto loses, the Kenya government takes over the hotel and everything is in there which is worth billions is handed over to KAA or they can bulldoze the whole place. I am pretty sure William Ruto has already talked to the KAA now under his control to just drop the appeal case on Weston Hotel.
The judiciary under Chief Justice Martha Koome has refused to put these cases up for final hearings so they are helping William Ruto. Can the judiciary handle these Ruto land theft cases in the next six months, please. That is what the Kenyan opposition should be talking about now that President Ruto wants all corruption cases sorted out quick. But what is the opposition doing? Nothing plus nothing and talking about Ruto offering them jobs which they will take or not take. Who cares!
And here is Ruto’s Dolphin Beach Hotel in Mombasa which has its own serious problems.
Right now as President William Ruto is dancing between the lines and Raila Odinga is trying to steady up the ODM, Azimio and the opposition movement something really crazy is also happening. Kalonzo Mysoka and Martha Karua apart from fighting not to be given the AG job by Ruto have also launched their 2027 presidential campaigns and they both know that is going nowhere but they have nothing else to do and certainly nothing to support the Gen Z uprising.
Proverbs 16:19 – “It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoils with the proud.” We want to see in ODM, ‘the proof of the pudding that is in the eating’; when the time comes for vetting CSs, how their MPs will vote.
Kalonzo is basically saying the 25 Wiper MPs can vote to support Kipchumba Markomen and Kithure Kindiki two of the worst CSs in the Ruto regime but they should vote against ODM members nominated for the Cabinet. That may be very logical from Kalonzo Musyoka but it makes no sense to any other Kenyan. That is why the Kalonzo presidential race is being killed by nobody else but himself.
In the meantime both Kalonzo and Martha Karua are fighting to tell Kenyans how they are being begged to be the next AG for William Ruto. I mean the president is crazy but he is not a complete idiot. He will not nominate either Kalonzo or Karua for the AG job.
As it turns out President Ruto has now nominated Dorcas Oduor for the AG position and she seems to be more qualified than those two combined who were asking for the job by alleging not to take it.
Attorney General nominee Dorcas Oduor.
All the key political leaders maybe having their own internal conflicts and ambitions but one thing Kenyans need to agree on is to have ID and voter registration starting a month from now. Then the rest is history.
Why is it that no politician from President Ruto to ODM and Azimio leaders like Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Martha Karua are talking about voter registration as step one of addressing the Gen Z demands. Are they all scared? Give them IDs and Voting Cards. What is wrong with that?
A complete voter registration with millions of Kenyan youth getting those voting cards is the end game for William Ruto and many of the opposition leaders. They know that and it is going to happen and I hope Gen Z demos can focus on that as a key demand for them.
President Ruto right now has no clue what is going on and he is running around talking shit everyday. One day Ruto is very sympathetic to his victims killed by his police force and the next day he pledges to kill more Gen Z protestors.
“I gave my undertakings to the country that there will be no disappearance of Kenyans. There was a time we had over 30 bodies of Kenyans in rivers, that will never happen under my watch. If there is any Kenyan who has disappeared, I want people to step forward and say so and so has disappeared, I will be very happy to deal with it.”
The next rally William Ruto is insulting the protestors including the more than 60 he has already murdered in cold blood and 66 abducted according to KNCHR report last week. This is a totally messed up and confused president and Kenya never show this before. At least Moi was a sane person despite his dictatorship and state repression.
Here is Ruto speaking with his other tongue about Gen Z protests and state murders. “We will stop the looters, we will stop the killers, we will stop mayhem, we will stop anarchy because Kenya is a democratic nation and we want a peaceful nation,” he said.
“I believe the protesters calling for responsible use of public funds are sponsored,” he said.
This man Ruto has no idea where he is on any given day. That is where Kenya is thanks to him. It has to be stopped because it cannot go on for three more years. We will not have a country then.
Like Mike Tyson the crazy boxing dude said everybody has a plan until you hit them in the mouth. Is that what Gen Z did to President William Ruto?
Already as we speak, President Ruto has secretly sold JKIA for Sh. 242 billion to Adani Airport Holdings from India. In a statement published on the Tuesday dailies, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi said the government has not agreed on terms with Adani Airport Holdings of India. That is a lie.
President Ruto had Kipchumba Markomen as the CS dealing with that project and to make sure the projects there are protected he has appointed the worst possible CS there in the name of Davis Chirchir to replace Murkomen.
How the heck do you sell a whole national airport a public investment for the whole country and do that in secrecy. Now they have been busted and they are going to cook some fake public participation after they have already sold JKIA. That is what William Ruto government is all about and it is terrible for the country and for Kenyans.
From this deal it is obvious President Ruto has already taken over KAA and their job going forward will be to make money for him and the other big names in his government like Murkomen who set up the whole thing.
