Police seeking Didmus Barasa for theft of government vehicle

Police in Kimilili are pursuing Kimilili MP Didimus Barasa who is in hiding after an NGCDF vehicle with registration number GK948J was impounded this morning at his home by DCI officers from the Government Check Unit.

Reports indicate MP Barasa, who is defending his parliamentary seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket had the government vehicle fully branded with UDA Party colours plus photos and fixed with a different registration number KBS 709D.

The MP on the run faces charges of theft and forgery.
