”Spent the day attending Rt Hon Raila Odinga’s Presidential Campaign Board meeting in Nairobi. I urge Azimio supporters to ignore propaganda being spread by my detractors who are uncomfortable with Azimio wave sweeping the country & my firm stand behind Baba’s bid for the presidency,” his statement read.
The Orange Democratic Party also debunked the camp switching tasks reiterating that Oparanya was holed up in a Raila Campaign Board meeting as opposed to the information that was doing rounds on social media platforms.
“Deputy Party Leader Wycliffe Oparanya is a member of the Raila Campaign Board chaired by Governor of Laikipia County HE Nderitu Mureithi. The board has been meeting the whole of this afternoon & Governor Oparanya was in attendance. Ignore rumors being spread by busybodies who have run out of ideas,” the political outfit’s statement read.
