One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Moses Wetangula (Ford-Kenya), and Cyrus Jirongo (KANU) today held a meeting at a Nairobi hotel to discuss a possibility of Wetangula and Jirongo supporting the ANC leader to be the alliance’s flagbearer in 2022.

The meeting comes at a time when reports on a section of the media indicate two OKA principals have agreed to shelve their presidential ambitions in favor of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Meanwhile, the former prime minister and deputy president William Ruto have intensified their 2022 campaigns with Ruto raiding the ODM supremo’s Luo Nyanza base.

This afternoon, DP Ruto landed in Kisumu at the Susan Owiyo Arts Centre to start his three-day tour of the region. This evening’s meeting with delegates saw Ruto receive the Nyanza region’s economic blueprint.

Tomorrow, the UDA leader will hold a roadside rally at Kondele then head to Nyahera, in Kisumu West constituency for a meeting with smallscale traders before winding up his tour of the county at Nyalunya Primary School in Kisumu East, where he is expected to give a school bus donation to the institution.

He will be in Homabay on Thursday and wind up his three-day tour in Migori county hosted by Governor Okoth Obado the following day.

On the other hand, ODM boss Raila Odinga met a delegation of leaders from the lower Eastern region counties at Chungwa House in Nairobi as he prepares for his Azimio la Umoja tour of the region in the coming days.

”HE Raila Odinga has invited me to the forthcoming South Eastern Kenya bloc AzimioLaKenya event. I purpose to attend. This is the time to share and digest ideas which will save our country. Like Muungano Party, ODM subscribes to the UTU economic model,” Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana said on Tuesday evening.
