United Democratic Alliance Chairperson Johnstone Muthama says going against President William Ruto in 2027 will be a waste of time, and that the UDA regime will govern Kenya for ten years til 2032.
Speaking to a local publication yesterday, Muthama asked President Ruto’s critics to sit back, shelve their 2027 political ambitions and watch how the new regime will run the country as it has never been done before.
”2032 is when they will be able to talk because Ruto is not going anywhere. The work that this man is going to do in this country, the election is going to be UDA and it will be Ruto unopposed. Mtu atakuwa anaangalia anasema ni Ruto tu wacha hio,” Muthama said.
The former Machakos senator also lashed out at their critics accusing the Head of State of failing to live up to his campaign promises, telling them what the new president needed was time to actualise his pledges, not unnecessary criticisms.
”Ruto was sworn in about three weeks ago. He’s yet to swear in his ministers. He’s yet to swear in his principal secretaries. He is yet to cover all departments with the choice of people he wants to work with,” he said.
