Lawmakers Kipchumba Murkomen, Aden Duale, and Ndindi Nyoro are to resign from their positions in Parliament after being picked by President William Ruto to join the Kenya Kwanza administration as Cabinet Secretaries.

Sources from UDA have confided to the media that the three leaders are among top UDA politicians looking forward to joining the Cabinet after playing instrumental roles in their win.

”It is correct that Duale and Murkomen are going to join the Cabinet. One of the constituencies in Murang’a County will also have a by-election but Kenyans should relax and wait,” Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa told the Nation.

Leaders expecting a cabinet slot in the new regime are former Turkana county chief Josphat Nanok, UDA Chair Johnson Muthama, politician Ababu Namwamba and Maendeleo Chap Chap leader Alfred Mutua.

Others are Chama Cha Kazi leader Moses Kuria, former Kwale governor Salim Mvurya, former National Speaker Justin Muturi as well as consultant Eliud Owalo.
