Intel: State beefs up security of top Ruto allies from Mt Kenya

The national government has beefed up the security of key Kenya Kwanza leaders following the leakage of intelligence reports pointing to a plot of harming the legislators as a strategy of propelling William Ruto to power.

Apart from leaders from Mt Kenya, others given additional security are Kenya Kwanza principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.

MPs Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Rigathi Gachagua (Mathira), Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu), Moses Kuria, and Irungu Kangata have been added between five to ten additional officers.

Speaking in Nyeri county on Saturday, UDA running mate Rigathi Gachagua sensationally claimed there were people plotting harm on him and other Mt Kenya MPs.
