There is a huge fall-out in Dr. Evans Kidero’s inner circle with key members of the campaign team saying the former Nairobi governor has only appointed his close relatives and friends in a new line-up expected to be unveiled soon.
Despite promising to run a balanced campaign that brings on board all his allies across the major Homabay county clans, Dr. Kidero is now being accused of favoritism and sidelining the larger Onyango Raballa clan covering Kasipul and Kabondo Kasipul Constituencies.

In the new line-up, Dr. Kidero has picked eleven individuals from Karachuonyo, all of whom are close friends and some of his maternal relatives, four from Rangwe, and an individual from Ndhiwa, a move that has attracted disquiet from Kabondo Kasipul.
New allies of the ex-governor are Carilus Ademba, Steve Seno, Jack Nduri, Philip Kodo, – all from Karachuonyo, Tom Sipul (Kasipul), Meshak Nyamute (Rangwe), Tom Ongondo (Rangwe), Dr. Obonyo Mireri (Kabondo Kasipul), Enosh Bolo (Homabay), Mark Matunga (Suba) and Achiando (Ndhiwa).
