William Ruto could be forced out of the official Deputy President’s residence in Karen if plans by top allies of President Uhuru Kenyatta successfully go through.

According to reports, the State Department of Public Works is ready to issue a vacate notice to William Ruto and his family to leave the Karen residence to allow for the “renovations,” which are in preparation for the next occupant of the Deputy President’s office.

Close associates of the Head of State, both in government and his political friends say he has had enough of William Ruto’s criticism of his regime from inside and it was time to act swiftly. They reveal Uhuru Kenyatta has resolved to put his foot down and is going to face his deputy one-on-one.
