Meru Senator Mithika Linturi has called on residents of Uasin Gishu to help them (leaders supporting DP Ruto’s presidential bid) eject Kenyans not supporting the UDA leader’s presidential bid from their midst, saying there was no way people of Meru and those from Mt Kenya were striving to make Ruto president when others were working hard to derail their attempts.
”Watu wa UasinGishu msicheze na Kenya. Kile nawaomba ni kwamba madoadoa mliyonayo hapa muweze kuyaondoa!” the Meru senator charged, adding, ”Hatuwezi kuwa tunasimama na William tukiwa huko Mt Kenya na Meru halafu kuna wengine ambao hawasikii hawaungani na yeye.”
Senator Linturi is among speakers at the Eldoret Sports Club where DP William Ruto is launching is presidential bid, an event attended by a number of elected leaders including governors, senators, and MPS.
