Did Former Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua reject President William Ruto’s job offer?
Reports indicate the former high-ranking civil servant who served in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration turned down a request by President Ruto to coach Felix Koskei, the current Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service.
Dr. Kinyua was forced into retirement after William Ruto took over as President. He exited office in October 2022 after 44 years of service.
Felix Koskei took over as the new Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service in new appointments made by President William Ruto on Friday, October 14.
President Ruto is unhappy with a series of mistakes by the current Head of Public Service. Something that has not only exposed State House but also the Kenya Kwanza Administration as disjointed.
Koskei is deputised by former Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok, who was serving as the Director-General of William Ruto’s presidential campaigns.
