Biden Orders Ruto To Build a New Guantanamo Bay Prison for Houthi Rebels in Kenya

14 mins read

President William Ruto’s visiting US Joe Biden was supposed to be the epitome of his faltering government in Kenya.

One of the biggest news from that four-day visit was that Joe Biden had put Kenya on a Non-NATO Ally status which Kenyans were being told means Kenya is now the shining light of all African countries and we were supposed to be clapping vigorously for this achievement by Ruto and for our country.

Now as the details of this whole new Kenyan role unfold Kenyans are getting terrified by the minute. We already know about the Haiti fiasco where Biden is using Ruto as a spanner boy to take 1,000 Kenya police to the Haiti deathbed controlled by gangsters which even the USA does not want to confront and so they needed some state reckless enough to send their police officers there and they got Ruto and Kenya boxed in to go to Haiti after giving a lot of money to President William Ruto.

Under those conditions, Kenya cannot even stop the operation if it is falling apart and take their police officers back home unless the US allows them because they have been paid already by Biden. It is like a mercenary mission. Your boss get paid and you die there if need be.

UN Security Council approves deploying a Kenya-led force to Haiti to fight gangs

World Oct 2, 2023

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — The U.N. Security Council voted Monday to send a multinational force to Haiti led by Kenya to help combat violent gangs in the troubled Caribbean country.

The resolution drafted by the U.S. was approved with 13 votes in favor and two abstentions from China and the Russia Federation.

The resolution authorizes the force to deploy for one year, with a review after nine months. It would mark the first time a force is deployed to Haiti since a U.N.-approved mission nearly 20 years ago.

Haiti is already very scary for Kenyans but now Ruto and his KK ball runners like Musalia Mudavadi are telling Kenyans that Joe Biden and Ruto agreed that Kenya will be the country where Houthi rebels captured in the Red Sea skirmishes will be held as prisoners of war.

Simply put, President William Ruto was ordered by Joe Biden and agreed that the next Guatanamo Bay prison for alleged terrorists will be brought in by the US from Yemen to Kenya. This is simply an insane way of turning the whole country of Kenya as a prison cell for the United States war in Yeman and Middle East.

Kenya and in fact East Africa has seen its fare share of terrorist activities in our countries with devastating consequences of so many people killed and others injured for life. The 1998 Taliban attack on our country was terrible for the country. And even after all that the USA while paying victims of Taliban attacks in the US told the Kenyan government they cannot pay for Kenyan victims of the Taliban attack because if they do that then terrorists will just attack and kill people and the USA has to pay.

U.S. Embassy Bombing in Nairobi in 1998

The bomb site of the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Africa, by al Qaeda operatives on August 7, 1998.

On August 7, 1998, nearly simultaneous bombs blew up in front of the American embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in Africa.

Two hundred and twenty-four people died in the blasts, including 12 Americans, and more than 4,500 people were wounded.

In fact I can see my work home, the towering Teacher’s Service Commission building in pieces from the Taliban bombs. The whole place was wiped out because it was next to the US embassy in Nairobi.

In terms of the Taliban terrorist bombing in Nairobi on August 7, 1998 the facts are that the families of all the more than 200 Kenyans who were killed in that bombing were never paid a penny by the US. All the 4,500 injured never got any medical support from the US. And now we have this new Guatanamo in Kenya for Joe Biden and William Ruto.

In the first place, why did the US choose Guantanamo Bay prison for the Taliban? Why did the US not put those suspects in the mainland USA? Because the USA was scared of how the Taliban will respond and they needed a completely sealed-out jailhouse to keep prisoners for life. Guantanamo Bay was perfect for the USA because it was completely covered militarily 24/7 and the Taliban could not hit them there.

As a matter of fact Guantanamo Bay is not even in the USA. It is just grabbed Cuban territory by the United States. Kenya can’t be that for Biden and Ruto. Can we?

We will collaborate with the US and the EU to confront the Houthi rebels

Kenya will remain committed to helping the United States and Europe deal with Yemen’s Houthi rebels, said First Secretary of the Cabinet and Foreign and Diaspora Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

In an interview with the Star, Mudavadi noted that the Red Sea Canal handles about 12 percent of global trade and most of the cargo to Kenya arrives via sea.

“If ships choose another route due to problems in the Red Sea, we will have delays in the delivery of goods. There will also be cost implications,” she said.

Kenya pledged its support to the United States and the European Union to address maritime crime in the Indian Ocean, Gulf of Aden and Red Sea regions.

The activities of the Houthi rebels have significantly affected the safe passage of ships, prompting the EU to seek regional partnerships to bolster security efforts.

Houthi rebels have caused devastating chaos in Yemen by seizing the northern part of the country and launching more than 30 attacks on ships sailing in the Red Sea.

This has caused a domino effect in the form of rising prices of agricultural products and commodities.

Mudavadi said countries must ensure that there is freedom of navigation.

“There are many reasons for Kenya to be concerned if there are disturbances in the Red Sea. Like when piracy increased in the Indian Ocean. “It not only affected commerce but also tourism,” she added.

He said Kenya has “every reason to engage with the United States and the EU because it is in our national interest.”

“Imagine if we don’t get fuel. Imagine if fertilizers are not delivered on time and local industries do not get raw materials.”

Now we need to jail Houthi rebels to get fertilizers according to the Ruto boys. Just sick.

But here is the point. Now the US needs another Guatanamo Bay for their war with the Houthis and God knows who else and they decide Kenya can be that prison for those they capture. Where is Ruto going to put the Yemeni prisoners for the US? Is it Kamiti? My old home two times.

It has to be somewhere that cannot be hit with the resistance forces fighting to free those prisoners. Is Ruto going to put the Biden prisoners at the State House so that when the resistance comes he can deal with them with his maximum security at the State House? That would be a good start. But Yemen and US wars are not part of Kenya’s business. Can we keep it there?

From media reports things look very bad in all fronts as Kenya becomes the USA’s new Guantanamo Bay Prison with Joe Biden and William Ruto working together.

While its Horn of Africa neighbors stick to their position of neutrality, Kenya has openly aligned itself with the US-led coalition against Yemen’s Houthi group.

The Houthis have been targeting shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since November, saying the attacks are a response to Israel’s ongoing offensive on the Gaza Strip.

The US set up a multinational force in December to counter the threat and has been carrying out strikes in Yemen against Houthi targets.

The coalition started off with 10 confirmed members, but the Pentagon and US President Joe Biden said later in December that more than 20 nations have agreed to take part.

Last week, the White House put out a joint statement endorsed by 23 nations, announcing new strikes against Houthi targets, condemning the Yemeni group and “those who supply the Houthis with the weapons to conduct these attacks.”

Among the signatories were just two African nations – Guinea-Bissau and Kenya.

For Kenya, analysts say the alignment with the US-led bloc is an outcome of recent visits by top American military leaders.

On Jan. 22, Gen. Michael Langley, head of US Africa Command, and Sgt. Maj. Michael Woods, the command’s senior enlisted leader, visited Nairobi strategically.

This was after the Jan. 16 meeting between CIA Director William Burns and Kenyan President William Ruto.

While the details of these discussions remain undisclosed, Kenyan authorities hinted that they revolve around regional security matters.

Public opinion

David Kamau Njuguna, another citizen, echoed similar concerns.

“Our government needs to be transparent about its foreign policy choices, especially when it involves military alliances. We want to understand the implications for our nation and the East Africa region,” he said.
