Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri on Sunday DP William Ruto he cannot get into a coalition with ODM leader Raila Odinga without consulting the Hustler Nation. The MP went ahead to dismiss such a coalition, saying it will not work and that the ODM leader is only allowed to join them after the 2022 polls.
”Deputy President William Ruto cannot form a coalition with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga without consulting us. Any coalition with Mr. Odinga now cannot work, we will only welcome him after the 2022 General Election,” the Bahati MP said.

According to the legislator, a union between Odinga and Ruto would not last long, and it was akin to subjecting children to torture, in a bad marriage.
“We cannot allow Mr Odinga to partner with DP Ruto, because I am sure the alliance won’t last long. There is no point in marrying a person when you know very well that the union will soon collapse. Why would you want to subject children to suffering when it is clear a marriage won’t survive.”
Talk of the ODM leader working with Ruto has been rife, especially after Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya confirmed a nine hour meeting between him and the DP on Thursday. Oparanya is a Deputy Leader in ODM.
