The One Kenya Alliance (OKA) is working on a unity pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, which will see the leaders come up with a super political vehicle, whose flag is to be flown by the ODM leader in the presidential polls. This is according to Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, who also heads KANU and is one of the principals of OKA.
Others are Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), and Moses Wetangula (Ford-Kenya).
”We have decided as OKA that we will now work with like-minded leaders. We will work with leaders who share the same ideologies as us. We are currently working on a unity pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga,” the KANU leader said on Sunday at the ACK Kiserian in Kajiado county.

Last week, this publication reported President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM boss Raila Odinga and the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) were closer to reaching a deal, which will see the Head of State forming a super political vehicle bringing together all the country’s political bigwigs and some of the new regional parties.
According to sources close to Uhuru and Raila, the two leaders have settled on a single political vehicle which is supposed to be announced as early as December this year.
”There is a discussion of a party of national unity that will come out soon. It will bring on board all those people including Raila and all [Oka] principals,” a source confided to this publication.
This announcement by Senator Moi comes on a day one of the OKA principals, Musalia Mudavadi, has hit out at Raila Odinga over his 6K monthly stipend pledge saying it was unrealistic and was only meant to lure voters.

”You are promised a social welfare economy model by getting 6K, where is that money going to come from? This is a lie to lure voters, but it cannot be implemented and if it’s achieved then tax will be increased on you Kenyans,” Mudavadi said at the Quakers Friends International Centre on Ngong Road in Nairobi.
