Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) continues to witness a defection of key national officials to Azimio Coalition.
On Wednesday, UDA Deputy Organizing Secretary-Strategy Dr Wanjala Iyaya defected to the Democratic Action Party Party (DAP-K), to vie for MP Webuye East parliamentary seat just a month after joining UDA.
In a tweet, the DAP-Kenya revealed Dr. Wanjala was accompanied by elders who also expressed their support for the Raila Odinga-led Azimio Coalition.
DAP-K is associated with Defense CS Eugene Wamalwa and led by Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi.
Other national officials who have also defected from the William Ruto-led party are Omingo Magara ( was UDA National Treasurer) and Anthony Kibagendi ( was the Youth Affairs Director).
