Former Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has told of Deputy President William Ruto over his remarks that UDA is a national party and anyone supporting his presidential bid in 2022 must join the outfit.
On August 4th, during an interview with Inooro TV, the DP said he do not need to form a coalition with any party to clinch the top-seat, technically locking our leaders of political parties in Mt Kenya.

”Our coalition (UDA) is for all Kenyans. So we do not need any alliance, we do not need any coalition because our outfit is already a coalition for all the people of Kenya,” Ruto said.
However, Kiunjuri who is also the leader of The Service Party told the DP he cannot boast he is heading a national party, saying the president’s principal assistant was trying to make a regional party have national membership.
“Nobody can boast in this country that he or she has a national party. They are all regional parties first trying to become national parties,” Kiunjuri stated.

Currently, Kiunjuri and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who leads the Chama Cha Pesa are affiliated to the DP but are having a hard time inside the hustler’s mansion, where their colleagues insist they must first dissolve their political parties.
