Senator George Khaniri says the Kenya Kwanza alliance has been hugely responsible for the country’s failure and Vihiga voters should reject the outfit plus its presidential flagbearer William Ruto.
Speaking at the ACK church in Vihiga on Sunday, Khaniri, who is eyeing the county’s gubernatorial seat told DP Ruto to stop blaming the handshake for the failures in Jubilee and asked Vihiga voters to reject him and his team.

”You cannot create problems for us, then turn around and claim that you have solutions to the problems that we have at the moment. Sisi tuna imani ya kwamba yule mwanaume amepigia nchi hii kwa miaka nyingi, alipigania democrasia ambayo tuko nayo sasa hivi akafungwa miaka tisa, huyo ndiye mandela wa Kenya. Yeye ndiye tunampigia,” Senator Khaniri who defected to the UDP part from ANC earlier this week said.
UDP, headed by former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo is a member of the Azimio Coalition.
