Senator Johnson Sakaja says the ruling party Members of Parliament and Senators are only ready to work with Musalia Mudavadi and not ODM.

Speaking in Nakuru over the weekend where he accompanied the ANC leader on a two-day tour of the county, the Nairobi senator asked Jubilee Party SG Raphael Tuju and Vice-Chair David Murathe to stop forcing party members into a partnership with the Raila led party.

”I am a founding member of Jubilee. There are those who are pushing for Jubilee to merge with ODM without consulting us. Many party members, MPs, and leaders from Nairobi, Eastern, Western, North Eastern, and Rift Valley who want Jubilee to work with Mudavadi,” Senator Sakaja said, adding,” My brothers Murathe and Tuju can go ahead and join hands with ODM, not us.”

Senator Sakaja also revealed Jubilee Party is currently engaged in talks with over ten political parties on how to support Mudavadi in 2022.

”We have been talking with close to ten parties as Jubilee Party. If there is going to be any merger by Jubilee, that merger will be with Musalia, not ODM, ” he added.

Other leaders in Mudavadi’s entourage were MPs Tindi Mwale, Butere, Sakwa Bunyasi, Nambale, Vihiga Woman Rep, Beatrice Adagala, and Ayub Savula, Lugari among others.
