Muranga Woma Rep Sabina Chege says Mt Kenya politicians who had aligned with DP William Ruto but have been shown the door in the ongoing UDA primaries are still welcome back to the Jubilee Party and are free to defend their seats on the ruling party’s ticket.

Speaking on Friday, Ms. Chege, who also sits on the Azmio Coalition Council said revealed there were many roles the trounced Tanga Tanga MPs can play in the Azimio formation going forward and that the Jubilee party was their home.

”Wenzetu ambao walienda wakafanyiwa mabaya, east or west home is the best. Karibuni nyumbani Jubilee. Kujeni kuna kazi ni nyingi katika hii nyumba yetu ya Azimio. Waje tufanye kazi pamoja katika serikali ijayo ya Azimio. Tunawakaribisha wote ambao wametengwa na walioenda huko wakadanganywa,” she said.

A number of prominent UDA legislators in the Mt Kenya region have fallen in the UDA primaries, among them MPs Cate Waruguru, Jane Kihara, Isaac Mwaura, Wainaina Wa Jungle and others.
