President Uhuru attends Sheikh Mohamud’s inauguration in Mogadishu

President Uhuru Kenyatta is in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu for the inauguration of the country’s new president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

The Head of State is accompanied by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo, Agriculture’s Peter Munya and Eugene Wamalwa of Devolution.

Other African leaders present at the inauguration are Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Djibouti leader Omar Ismael Guelleh, South Sudan 2nd Vice President Taban Deng Gai, Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Kamal Madbouly, and Uganda’s Defence Minister Vicent Bamulangaki.
