Kenyan Government Shares Job Application Resources for Opportunities in Germany

1 min read

Kenyans seeking employment in Germany can now access a range of resources outlined by Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary Roseline Njogu.

In an interview with KTN News on September 18, Njogu provided a list of websites to help job seekers navigate the application process for opportunities secured by President William Ruto.

Among the recommended platforms is make-it-in-germany.com, a government-run site that features over 21,000 job listings across various sectors. “This portal is not only user-friendly but also offers invaluable insights into living and working in Germany, including visa requirements and vocational training,” Njogu stated.

Additionally, Njogu highlighted deutschland.de and hub4africa.bayern as valuable resources.

“Deutschland.de provides testimonials from other foreigners working in Germany, offering a realistic view of the experience,” she noted. Hub4Africa.bayern is designed to support Africans through courses tailored to different stages of their careers, from vocational education to entrepreneurial training.

The principal secretary also encouraged Kenyans to explore traditional job-seeking avenues such as LinkedIn and to connect with recruiters listed on the National Employment Authority (NEA) website.

“Different regions in Germany have tailored job websites, and we will ensure that Kenyans are informed once this information is available,” she added.

With these resources, the government aims to facilitate the job search process for Kenyans eager to explore new opportunities abroad.
