President William Ruto has disclosed that his administration has achieved an impressive 80% completion rate in onboarding government services onto a digital platform.
The announcement, made during the summit’s inauguration at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi emphasizes the administration’s commitment to technological advancement and efficiency.
President Ruto expressed his satisfaction with the progress, stating, “As a country, we made a very conscious decision that technology is going to inform the way we transform our country. I am very happy that we are 80% on the way to making sure that every government service is on the digital platform.”
The Secretary to the Cabinet, Mercy Wanjau, previously reported that over 16,000 state services are now accessible through the eCitizen platform, marking a significant milestone in the government’s digitalization efforts.
