There is an unprecedented panic in DP William Ruto’s Tanga Tanga following revelations that ODM leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta will lead countrywide BBI campaigns.

Speaking in Nairobi, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed and former Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru, who head the BBI Secretariat, said the BBI campaigns will commence next week, from March 1st.

The campaign teams will be headed and commanded by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

“We have a plan to roll out a national campaign from March 1 next week, which is going to cover all parts of the country. We are going to have 10 teams camp in every corner of this country,” Suna East legislator told the press.

Adding, ”Every team is going to be headed by a senior leader with his team of around 10 Members of Parliament and 10 leaders from other sectors of leadership to go and tell Kenyans in the villages what is good for them and why they should support the document at the referendum.”

According to reports doing rounds on social media, the Deputy President’s camp remains non-committed in facing a joint Uhuru-Raila team. There is also the question of William Ruto’s fate in Mt Kenya, once Uhuru Kenyatta rolls up his sleeves to undo the gains the DP has made in the region, for the last three years.
