Orange Democratic Movement party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna says that come 2027, the party will compete with the other parties independently as it has always done.
Addressing the press on Friday after the party’s Central Commitee meeting in Nairobi, Sifuna however said they are, at the moment, guarded in remarks regarding the 2027 elections.
“We exist as a political party independently and are ready to battle it out for power with all the other existing political parties,” he said.
Sifuna added that as ODM party leaders, they are only focused on their issues and are strengthening themselves to clinch the top seat in the 2027 general elections.
He reiterated that they will not address or comment on issues to do with other political parties.
