George Ruto’s matatu impounded
The National Transport and Safety Authority has impounded two matatus said to be owned by George Ruto, son to President William Ruto, following a public outcry on their reckless driving on Kenyan roads.
The matatus, which ply the Lang’ata-Rongai route named Money Fest and Ambush have been trending for the wrong reasons, with video circulating online. In the videos, the matatus can be seen at times driving on the wrong side of the road (once got stuck), despite presence of traffic police officers.
Its most recent videos had young people riding on top of the buses and hanging around them, while overtaking in Rongai town.
Not Even Police officers can stop the now infamous Matatu, Moneyfest! The Dad is lecturing other parents on how to raise their kids!
Murkomen on viral AI images: ‘We will charge Kenyans using social media to threaten leaders’
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has threatened action against Kenyans using social media to troll political leaders and criticise the government.
The CS, who spoke on Friday in Uasin Gishu while in the company of President William Ruto, referred to the Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated images which have become a playground for online users opposed to the government
First of to Kipchumba Murkomen and President William Ruto who was standing next to him when he was issuing deadly and stupid threats to young Kenyans, those images of George Ruto using his matatus to terrorize Kenyans in the streets of Nairobi are not AI images.
Those are real pictures of a mad young man relying on his father’s wealth and power to cause chaos in Nairobi. That is our new Kenya and the citizens know that. They are getting fed up with it every day. That is not social media. It is reality for Kenyans and they are not going to put up with it.
Secondly, it amazes me that a young man whose father is the richest person in Kenya and maybe the whole world needs these matatus to make any money. George Ruto has all the money and owns property worth billions in Kenya. Why does he need this madness on the streets with his matatus? Is this a form of mental illness or is it just arrogance of my father owns the country and it is just a playground for me?
And last if William Ruto wants to get out of the coffin pictures and artwork he can do the same thing with Kasongo when he went dancing to the tunes of that song and was enjoying himslef.
Here is a brilliant suggestion for President Ruto to get out of the coffin nightmare that is driving him nuts. In his next rally with all his sycophants with him. William Ruto should bring a big coffin with him and then jump into that coffin and dance there all day long. That will tell the kids that Ruto is having fun with the coffins and he is not dead yet, at least not physically. That will be great for him.
If President Ruto does that coffin dance he will achieve what Farah Maalim wants for him because it is not the kids putting William Ruto in a political coffin. Ruto is doing that for himself with the help of his great friends.
Threats and intimidation will not work. Kenyans understand their constitutional rights and freedoms as enshrined in the Bill of Rights. Kenyans will PROTECT their rights and freedoms.
And the lunatics in the Ruto government should frighten him more than the Kenyan youth on social media. Here is another one of them. Just pitiful.
