Exiled lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna will have to wait longer in his quest of returning to Kenya, despite assuring his online supporters a few days ago that President William Ruto, his new ally, had promised to lift the red alerts imposed on him by September 14th.
A source from the country’s immigration department confides to this publication the Canada-based lawyer has been asked by the new administration to process his documents afresh showing he is indeed a Kenyan citizen.
On Friday evening, Dr. Miguna took to his social media handles saying he does not need any approval of documents to return to Kenya and that all he wants is the red alerts lifted.
”I attended nursery to university in Kenya. I don’t need any APPROVAL of documents to return home. All I want are RED ALERTS LIFTED. Period!” he tweeted.
Two weeks ago, this publication reported allies of President-elect William Ruto were planning to delay the return of exiled lawyer into the country because his presence in their camp makes some senior members uneasy.
