Deputy President William Ruto is travelling with a large delegation to the United States. A list seen by HiviPunde shows the Deputy President is being accompanied by his spouse, Mama Rachel Ruto, ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi, Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Kandara MP Alice Wahome.
Other politicians are Anne Waiguru, Owen Baya, Soipan Tuya, Susan Kihika, Kimani Ichungwah, Aden Duale and Beatrice Adagala.
The DP entourage includes senior government officials from his office and those from ministry of foreign affairs, as well as staff from the Intergovernmental relations secretariat. In total, the DP is being officially accompanied by 31 individuals.
Journalist Hussein Mohammed, the WSR Director of Communications, is also on the trip, though his name was missing from the official government delegation.
