Agriculture CS Peter Munya says his counterpart in the Ministry of Interior, Fred Matiangi deserves to run for the top seat in 2022. The CS was speaking at Nyaikuro Primary School in Nyamira, at a fundraiser hosted by Dr. Matiangi and attended by a host of senior government officials.
”He has earned respect in the whole country because of the work he continues to do for President Kenyatta’s government. If we look at the pillars holding the government, Matiang’i is the strongest,” Peter Munya said.
CS Matiangi has won accolades from Kenyans and in the Cabinet for his exemplary performance while heading different dockets in government. He currently coordinates all activities of the Cabinet and is President Uhuru’s eyes in the public sector.
The fundraiser at Nyaikuro Primary School was attended by Health Principal Secretary Susan Mochache, Transport Chief Administrative Secretary Chris Obure, Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo and Nyamira Senator Okong’o Omogeni.
Others were Woman reps Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay) and Jerusha Momanyi (Nyamira), Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose, and East Africa Legislative Assembly member Mburi Apuri.
