The ODM brigade on Sunday took BBI campaigns to Kibra, where they drummed up support for the document and took a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto’s hustler narrative for deceiving young Kenyans.
The MPs, led by Makadara lawmaker George Aladwa and his Embakasi East counterpart Babu Owino, the leaders called on Kibra residents to vote a resounding yes for the BBI when the country holds a plebiscite.
“BBI will bring a lot of change. Those opposing BBI are enemies of the people and we must reject them. Imagine you educate your child, from nursery to primary, secondary and finally university only for them to become wheelbarrow driver, ” Aladwa, who is also the ODM Party Chairman in Nairobi said.
Other leaders present were MPs Sam Atandi, Anthony Oluoch, Esther Passaris and a host of Nairobi ODM MCAs.
