Roots Party running mate Ms. Justina Wambui on Saturday told off Deputy President William Ruto over his recent pledge of lowering the cost of living once the Kenya Kwanza government takes over from President Uhuru, saying the UDA flagbearer had nine years to fulfill his promises when Jubilee Coalition took power in 2013, among them increasing the country’s food production.
”Kwenda uko. We waited on your promises for nine years and yet you fulfilled nothing. Maliza uende,” Hon Justin Wambui wrote.

Speaking at the Tononoka Grounds in Mombasa on June 25th, the UDA torchbearer said life was unbearable in the country and accused President Uhuru Kenyatta plus Azimio-One Kenya leader Raila Odinga of turning a blind eye to problems bedeviling Kenyans.
”President Uhuru told us that he gets advice from Raila. If Raila has failed to tell the president to bring down the cost of living, how will he do so if elected?,” posed Ruto.
